Fire Rated Metal Hatch (Custom Made)

These bespoke loft hatches can be made to any width and length up to 90cm, making them ideal where standard loft hatches cannot be used due to size limitations. Fully insulated loft hatch and sealed to prevent warm air passing through into your loft space, helping maintain energy efficiency in your home. They also come with a 30-minute fire-rated loft hatch certification, which is a requirement for most three-storey properties.

This is the industry standard loft hatch for most new build homes and modern properties. Fully insulated and draught-sealed to prevent warm air escaping into your loft, helping preserve home energy efficiency.

Battery Operated Pull-Cord Light

Ideal if you only want to access your loft occasionally or have a small loft space. These battery powered LED loft lights can be positioned anywhere and come with a handy pull cord for easy use.

Insulation

The Knauf loft roll 44 is an ideal solution for those seeking thermal insulation for pitched roofs at ceiling level. It is a flexible, lightweight, non-combustible insulation and low-density glass mineral wool quilt that provides excellent thermal insulation. Available in 100mm, 170mm, and 200mm thickness.

Loft Hatch Safety

Timber Balustrade

Due to the size of the hatch opening (minimum 1000x550mm) when the ladder is in use, we always install a timber safety rail around 2 or 3 sides (depending upon the configuration and location of your hatch).

Constructed from 75x50mm CLS timber, it gives you peace of mind so that you can move around your loft safely.

Steel handrail

For smaller loft hatches and where assistance is needed for easier entry and exit, we will install a steel safety rail.
