The Knauf loft roll 44 is an ideal solution for those seeking thermal insulation for pitched roofs at ceiling level. It is a flexible, lightweight, non-combustible insulation and low-density glass mineral wool quilt that provides excellent thermal insulation. Available in 100mm, 170mm, and 200mm thickness.

Because the hatch opening must be at least 1000x550mm to accommodate the ladder, we always fit a timber safety rail on two or three sides—depending on the layout and position of your hatch.
Made from sturdy 75x50mm CLS timber, the rail provides added peace of mind, helping you move safely around your loft.
For smaller loft hatches and where assistance is needed for easier entry and exit, we will install a steel safety rail.
